Ecce Homo, Ecce Eva (Quelli che si ricordano)

November 14th 2025 – January 11th 2026

Ecce Homo, Ecce Eva (Quelli che si ricordano) is the first solo exhibition by Ache77, hosted and curated by Street Levels Gallery. The exhibition, composed of more than fifty previously unseen works, takes shape as a ritual act, a gesture of living memory. The artist’s faces transform into living, permeable archetypes in which we can recognize ourselves.

All the works are created on emptied and opened spray cans, used both on their outer surface and on the inner side, naturally colored by the paint they once contained. The tool – the spray can – is transformed from waste into medium, turning into a memory that becomes a relic. Rust, oxidation, engraving, and gold and silver leaf are the elements that bring each piece to life, elevating it to an object that carries within itself the memory of the passing of time.

Ache77 presents forty-four archetypes, each evoking a specific moment of remembrance and embodying those who are aware of their true essence — that original dimension which defines us long before we were given a name or a social label. The exhibition path focuses on the ability to see not only with the eyes, but with all the senses, through one’s own bodily memory.

Rich in experiential and interactive elements, the exhibition is not merely a display but an invitation to remember. It is not a show that speaks about us, but one that speaks to us, exploring first matter, then faces, then the masculine and the feminine, not as roles but as living, primordial presences dwelling within us, reminding us that to truly see means to remember who we are.
