Since his first approaches to art, Geometric Bang has developed a taste for drawing faces, hands and animals, paying special attention to the study and use of colors. And these components become the main prerogative in each work that the artist creates.
His research has led him to create two-dimensional illustrations that are very simple to see, but profound to read. It is precisely this simplicity that distinguishes the artist and that has been at the heart of all the works on display at Street Levels Gallery from April 21 to May 4, 2018.
It is from this concept of essentiality that the entire exhibition takes its name: So Simple.
By juxtaposing signs with simple shapes and color patterns, Geometric Bang brings to life vast and complex images composed only of indispensable elements. His interventions tell stories that require time to be read and fully understood, and in which the surrounding environment plays a fundamental role. Every work of the artist is in fact an open dialogue with the territory. And this is what transforms each work into something alive, something that changes as its surroundings change.
