About Exit Enter

Exit Enter, born in 1990, is an independent Tuscan artist who works with different types of media and expressive languages in a syncretic relationship between urban fabric and art studio.
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence where he dedicated himself to experimentation, gestural painting, and abstraction, a search that he continued throughout his career in the studio. He is also interested in Urban Art and began painting on the street in 2013, driven by the need for sharing with the urban public. In this context, the stylized figure is one of his best-known works and is understood by the artist as a tag to sign his works, as well as an entity with which he confronts himself or tells stories to passersby.
His is a dualistic and synergistic relationship between studio and urban space, in which the former becomes a cathartic and instinctive territory, while the latter approaches the desire for communication and the search for input and stimuli. The two places, whose approaches reflect the stylistic characters of Exit Enter, connect in an exchange relationship: the stick figure often appears within the abstract paintings and illustrations, just as markers and other media, tags, textures, and scratches that the artist discovers in the urban context are then brought into the studio and reinterpreted according to a different poetics. The common thread of his research lies in the sign, whose gestuality is shaped according to the emotional state or the reception of the context generating narrative traits or those dedicated to impulsivity and experimentation.
He currently lives in Tuscany and works nationally and internationally, creating murals, exhibitions, artistic workshops, and participating in festivals and social initiatives.
