About Mr. Wany

Mr. Wany began his artistic career in graffiti writing at the age of 12.
His love for drawing started as a child, when little Mr. Wany began tracing Japanese anime cartoons like Ufo Robot, Goldrake, Jeeg, and so on. In 1999-2000, he had his first ideas related to street art, such as painting abandoned objects around the city. His artistic needs grew with him, maturing in parallel as a driving force in the search for new methods of communication.
Already known for his mural characters in Brindisi, he soon dictated the rules on style, becoming one of the pioneers of European writing culture. A versatile and multifaceted artist, Mr. Wany has a long experience in visual art and color combinations, ranging from graphic design to comics, illustration to tattoos.
In his thirty-year career, Mr. Wany has worked as a professional dancer, graphic designer, set designer, producer, screen printer, and music producer, as well as being the publisher of Ill Fame magazine, one of the first fanzines on hip hop culture, which has been back in print since 2022. He has collaborated as a testimonial and opinion leader for many brands such as Red Bull, Casio, Nike, Adidas, Coca Cola, Timberland, Volkswagen, MTV, Mediaset, Reebok, Eastpak, Jeep, Fiat, Canon, Nikon, and Algida.
