Luchadora

Attraverso il cancello e ritorno

The title is linked to one of the first scenes of the book: Annina finds herself in front of a closed gate, which however opens unexpectedly upon her arrival, and in the end she closes it behind her naturally, thereby already teaching us something: everything in the world it starts, it lasts a while and then it ends, and if you’re willing to let go everything goes smoother. The text is a kind of anti-fear strategy against something that is terrifying for all of us: not the wolf, worse… the different. The goal is to train ourselves to look with a clean gaze at something little known, mental illness, to see that under the layer of the word “illness” there is a functioning, a reason for everything that happens, even if it seems strange, out of place, extreme at times.
