Prossemica Vol. IV
11 September 2026
Prossemica Vol. IV is the 2026 edition of the group exhibition that accompanies the Palazzuolo Strada Aperta urban art festival each year.
Palazzuolo Strada Aperta is a public art and urban regeneration project initiated in 2023 by the association A Testa Alta APS, with artistic curation by Street Levels Gallery.
The artists featured in the fourth edition are:Â Wolsha, Geometric Bang, Giorgio Bartocci, Shekoone, Edoardo Bansone, 134127, Loste, Crisa, and ScrivimiPresto.
Nine Italian artists active on the international muralism scene, whose practices range from typographic research to abstract patterns, from 3D lettering to geometric forms. Together, they create a mosaic of styles that engage in dialogue with one another.
Alongside the exhibition, the nine artists will paint the shutters of several local businesses in the San Paolino district of Florence.
Bringing together works produced in the studio with those created in the public space, made possible by their spatial proximity, highlights the close relationship between the gallery and the public art that characterizes the neighborhood in which it is located.
One of Street Levels Gallery’s aims is precisely to demonstrate that the urban, public and collective space and the private spaces of the studio and gallery are not worlds in opposition, but rather dimensions that can communicate with one another and, together, enrich the streets, neighborhoods, and cities of which they are a part.
