The archetypal elements of RMOGRL8120 meet,
cross and lean on each other.
One day I will be a square states one of his circles,
in a desperate attempt to find its own center of gravity.

BIOGRAPHY

About RMOGRL8120

As with his artist name, also the creative research of RMOGRL8120 frees itself in the transcription of a minimal, naked, original visual code.

In the unfolding of an art of signs, the narrative of the Florentine visual artist is reduced to the most primitive essential; the expressive alphabet is connoted by the abstract, the aesthetic dissolves in geometric clarity, the forms improvise a balance, although a precarious one.

His paintings forget the reference to reality and, at the same time, remain clinging to it, recovering a material dimension in the suggestion of the sign on the surfaces: wall and canvas, wood and earth, and even stones, paper, sand, and leaves. The instinctual objects of RMOGRL8120 are reduced to the most existential trace, seeking for an almost synaesthetic narrative result. To the question of introspection raised by the artwork, the minimalist artist responds with the emotional density of color, with the geometry of the origin, with the composition of irreducible elements in a (ec)static dimension. Never immobile, eternally fluctuating.
