Taleggio
“The first memories related to drawing come from childhood, probably from my mother who painted pictures that she then gave to me. The real turning point on a personal level was getting away from the province state of mind and discovering the city with its rhythms, its rules and above all its symbolism.”

About Taleggio

Taleggio is a painter and an urban artist. In the early 2000s he encounters graffiti writing, and from then starts pouring effort and curiosity into that phenomenon.
In recent years he gradually detached himself from the “letter”; the need to experiment and the desire to go further let him to a confrontation with a new language, this time abstract, in which an element is never equal to another and everything is based on subtraction.
His work on the street has transformed parallel to that in the studio, and this synergy allowed him to open up for new exciting forms of collaboration. To this date, Taleggio has kept alive the relationship with the wall, and participates in urban art events that are linked to the world of new contemporary muralism.
